The aim of this thesis was evaluvation of the digestibility of dry matter and organic matter by in vitro method in total mixed ration (TMR) with different representation of components. The gastrointestinal tract of ruminants with all its physiological requirements is described in the literary review. Furthermore, attention was paid to factors affecting the digestibility of feed and subsequent methods for determination of digestibility. The literary review was also focused on the characteristics and structure of TMR. TMR analyzes were determined by chemical methods and subsequently statistically evaluated in Excel and Statistica. The analysis took into account the chemical analysis, nutritional value and concentration of macroelements and microelements. 8 TMRs with different proportions of components were selected for analyzes, of which 6 were assembled for the peak of lactation, one for early lactation and one for the end of lacta-tion. All TMRs are designed for dairy cows with production capacity of over 9,000 l of milk.

The aim of the work was to determine the effect of substitution of soybean meal (SBM) in the grower diets for broilers with other protein feeds of plant origine. It was study the influence of substitution on growth performance and feed conversion ratio, digestibility of amino acids, activity of digestive enzymes and morphology of small intestine. Protein feeds were chosen raw full fat soybean (RFFSB), extruded full fat soybean (EFFSB), corn DDGS, rapeseed (RS) and rapeseed meal (RSM). Based on our observation it can be concluded, that inclusion of RFFSB up to 8 % level, EFFSB up to 12 % level, DDGS up to 18 % level and RS up to 12 % level did not statistically significantly (P>0.05) negatively affect the yields in fed broilers. Feeding RFFSB and EFFSB influenced (P>0.05) the ileus morphology and activity of digestive enzymes. On the basis of digestibility coefficients, the most appropriate proteinous feed for broilers was SBM, which was comparable to EFFSB.

This master thesis focuses on factors affecting the quality of the diet in dairy cows and its relation with milk production. On the analysed farm breeding Holstein cattle, the feed rations are evaluated in terms of diet composition and optimal supply of energy and nutrients for milk production. The diet composition during the followed period and its optimisation, diet analyses and metabolic tests of the cattle are evaluated in this work.

Review of this thesis concisely describes total mixed ration (TMR) aproach, introduces INRA and CNCPS systems of evaluating rations for dairy cattle according nutritional requirements. Also there are described requirements of feed quality, structure and interaction between nutrients and organic matter digestibility. The experiment evaluates in vitro digestibility of dry matter and organic matter of different rations. Specifically rations for cow in early lactation, in the peak of lactation and for dry cows. The digestibility is compared according to nutrient composition. The digestibility was evaluated on Daisy Incubator (ANKOM TECHNOLOGY). For evaluating of results were used MS Excel and STATISTICA softwares. For statistical evaluatig were used regression analysis and Kruskal Wallis test.

The aim of the study was to observe changes in illeal digestibility of calcium and phosphorus during shell formation. The experiment was conducted on 350 Lohmann LSL-Classic hybrids laying whiteshelled eggs. At the time of the experiment, layers were fed with 115 g per layer per day of DeHeus N1 Power with the supplement of 0,5 % of chromium dioxide. Five groups were established. T1 (5–6 hours after laying), T2 (7–8 hours after laying), T3 (9–10 hours after laying), T4 (11–12 hours after laying), T5 (13–14 hours after laying). Six replications for each group were performed. All laying hens were housed in the same conditions in enriched cages. The ileal digestibility of calcium and phosphorus was determined by the indicator method. Within the first 10 hours after laying the last egg, the digestibility of calcium stayed unchanged at 61–62 %. A statistically significant increase in digestibility up to 75 % occurred approximately 12 hours after the lay in the T4 group. The digestibility of the phosphorus was fluctuating across all groups. Extension of the study throughout the whole process of eggshell formation would show a more comprehensive view of the issue.

The aim of this diploma theses was the determination of digestibility of nutrients af-ter the addition of yeast (lyophilized Saccharomyces cerevisiae) into the horse feed. The objective was determining the digestibility of dry matter, crude protein, crude fat, crude fibre, N-free matter, raw ash, and energy of daily ration with or without supplement of yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae to diets for horses. Nine horses were involved into the experiment. According to the valid rules for bal-ance experiment for horses during three balance period. From laboratory analysis daily ration and feeces we are determination digestibility of nutrients, dry matter 71,25 ± 4,86 %, coefficient digestibility of crude protein 85,47 % ± 3,32 %, coefficient of digestibili-ty of crude fat 69,89 % ± 6,51 %, coefficient digestibility of crude fibre 33,32 % ± 9,71 %, coefficient digestibility of N-free matter 79,84 % ± 4,05 % and coefficient digestibi-lity of energy 74,58 % ± 3,81 %. The supplementation of yeasts into diets for horses does not influence on the intake and digestibility organic matter and the energy.

In the Czech Republic, the grasslands constitute an important landscape element and at the same time, they are one of the basic components of horses' and ruminants' rations. Therefore, the fodder quality is important in the connection with production functions of grassland forage, especially concerning the dairy cattle. The aim of the diploma thesis was to monitor changes in the nutritional value during the vegetation and the evaluation of quality indications for selected species of Cock's-foot: three existing varieties and three varieties of the new breeding. Ash, crude protein, spectra fiber, organic matter digestibility index and relative feed value were evaluated. The changes between different phases of the vegetation were identified by raising proportion of CF, ADF and NDF in all varieties analyzed. During the aging of the cover, this process corresponded to deteriorating organic matter digestibility, decreasing relative feeding value and a decreasing tendency of nitrogen compounds. The value of CF in increasing in average from 22.6% up to 28.5%, NDF is increasing from 53.4% up to 60.5% and ADF from 29.3% up to 36.8 %. The digestibility of the organic value decreased from an average of 73.8% to 63.12%. Relative feed value decreased from an average of 114 to 91. During the vegetation, crude protein content also decreased from an average of 15.3% to 8.8%. From the analysis of results we can deduce that the varieties Vega are the best quality, vv115/10 and vv88/10, being nutritionally well balanced. The variety Zora is the worse quality. In terms of digestibility and relative feed values, the varieties of the new breeding are higher quality. These varieties are better with respect to the digestibility and relative feeding value than already existing varieties of Cock's-foot.
Comparison of the nutritional value and digestibility of classical oat and black oat

A review of literature thesis includes articles and publications dedicated to the topic of the digestive tract, the issue of measuring the digestibility of horse nutriens, characteristics and nutritional values of the yellow oat (Avena sativa), black oat (Avena strigosa) and hay. The practical part is devoted to comparing the nutritional values and digestibility of yellow and black oats in the ration using yellow or black with oat hay The experiment was conducted on six horses borrowed from the Academic riding club in Prague - Suchdol in February 2016. The preparatory period was 5 days, and sampling of faeces took place fifth morning after the morning feeding. Three pairs were created out of the six horses. The first pair formed gelding breed, Czech warmblood, who were housed in the inner box stable. The second pair formed a Haflinger gelding breed housed in an outdoor box. The third pair formed a Hucul gelding breed and welsh cob, housed in an outdoor box. One of the horses from an experimental pair was fed oat hulls and other horse was fed black varieties oats Raven. Rations was the same for both of the horses and both experimental animals also received the same amount of roughage. Digestibility coefficient was found at the base of the marker method using indicator lignin. The chemical analysis of determination of dry matter and ash, crude fiber (CF), neutral - detergent fiber (NDF), acid - detergent fiber ADF and acid - detergent lignin (ADL), crude fat and calculated using nitrogen-free substances process colors (BNLV) and organic matter (OH) were performed. Among the experimental pairs there was no statistically significant difference. Therefore, the hypothesis about differences in nutritional and dietetic value of oat and black oat was rejected.
The influence of selection of maize hybrid on forage quality

The aim is to assess the impact of choosing hybrid for digestibility of neutral detergent fiber in forage maize in relation to other quality parameters. Recommendations on hybrids based on testing can be economically advantageous for growers. At the beginning of the experiment hypothesis was stated: Selection of maize hybrid for the habitat significantly affects reached digestibility neutral detergent fiber when harvested for silage. Nine different maize hybrids in triplicate were enrolled in the experiment (Dynamite, NK Octet, Rubben, DKC 3507, 3795 DKC, DKC 4014, Susann, 30,311 LG and LG 32.64) for cultivation on an experimental plot in Prague Uhříněves. The evaluated characteristics were, inter alia, revenue and portion of buds. To evaluate the chemical analysis of samples was collected chop of the whole plant from the middle rows of experimental plots. Following parameters were evaluated: content of crude protein, content of neutral detergent fiber, content of digestible neutral detergent fiber, digestible organic matter, starch and solids content. Among the hybrids significant differences were observed in parameters: revenue, portion of buds, protein content, content of neutral detergent, content of digestible neutral detergent fiber, digestible organic matter and starch content. Statistically insignificant difference between hybrids was at the percentage of the dry matter. Selecting the appropriate corn hybrid is therefore one of the most important measures for cultivation. The correct choice is key to improving the quality of forage for optimal production of livestock. Corn is one of the pillars of production of meat and milk. When choosing a suitable hybrid corn, it is necessary to take into account many factors. Each hybrid has certain characteristics and these must be respected, but also used for benefit. Not only to the price of seeds, but also the potential yield and utilization of nutrients is of great importance for the economy of the production.
